Japan

Japan: Japanese 日本 Nihon or Nippon,? officially 日本国 Nihon-koku or Nippon-koku) is an island country in East Asia. Located in the Pacific Ocean, it lies to the east of China, Korea and Russia, stretching from the Sea of Okhotsk in the north to the East China Sea in the south. The characters that make up Japan's name mean "sun-origin", which is why Japan is sometimes identified as the "Land of the Rising Sun". (From Wikipedia)
The Usui Memorial
The Usui Memorial is located at the Saihoji Temple in the Suginami district of Tokyo. It was erected by Usui Sensei's students shortly after his death.

Mount KuramaMount Kurama (Japanese: 鞍馬山, Kurama-yama) is a mountain to the north-west of the city of Kyoto. It is the birthplace of the Reiki practice, and is said to be the home of Sōjōbō, king of the tengu, who taught swordsmanship to Minamoto no Yoshitsune and Ushiwaka. Kurama is also the location of the annual Kurama Fire Festival (鞍馬の火祭り, Kurama no Hi-matsuri), which takes place every October. (From Wikipedia)
I would like to thank Reiki Master Jessica Miller for her book Reiki's Birthplace-A Guide to Kurama Mountain. It is a great guidebook for all of you who are planning to journey to the sacred mountain. This book is an excellent resource for the dedicated Reiki practitioner and teacher. It certainly helps us in our journey.
